Family-owned Sullivan Gloves has been making handcrafted gloves since 1941. Sullivan makes specialty gloves for equestrians, motorcyclists and lineman.
Out of its Bend, Oregon workshop comes Sullivan's deerskin gloves. They can be used for gardening, work, chores and some good old cowboy roping.
Deerskin is a chamois-like leather that has been used for centuries for gloves, bookbinding and other products which require a leather that is both supple and durable. Deerskin breathes well in the summer months, but also provides some warmth in the winter. Over time, the soft leather will form itself perfectly to your hands.
If the glove fits… wear it. Simply slip on for digging in raised beds or stacking that pile of firewood.
To keep these looking great, Sullivan recommends using a mild soap and water to wash the gloves when they become dirty or oily. Gloves can also be machine washed on gentle cycle and air-dried.
Condition with a leather care product. If you keep the deerskin supple and well cared for, you’ll have these gloves for a long time.
Sullivan only buys leathers that are sourced and tanned in the US. Each pair of deerskin gloves is handmade in Bend, OR.
