Pickling has been around forever – it’s been traced back to ancient Mesopotamia – and it’s stuck with us for good reason. Pickled vegetables and fruits have a longer shelf life, more intense flavor, and gain a boost of B vitamins after sitting in a salty brine.
Each spice from Whole Spice is certified Kosher by Rabbi Ben-Tzion Welton of Va’ad Hakashrus of northern California.
Store in your spice cabinet away from light and heat, and aim to use up the bottle within one year. And store your pickles up to a year after that!
