The Bloody Mary is a simple cocktail, but one that inspires much debate. Drinkers may forever argue the horseradish inclusion, for instance, and historians the “real” inventor of the drink. But one thing can be agreed: The Bloody Mary should never be shaken hard, or the integrity of the tomato juice is compromised. Shaking also makes it foamy, and the juice loses its weight and texture on your tongue, ruining the drink.

With a jar of already-prepared mix on hand, however, shaking won’t be a temptation. Your highball glass need only be filled with ice, a jigger of vodka, then the Bloody Mary mix poured right on top, and given a quick stir with a cocktail spoon.

The proportions of tomato juice, spice and herbs in this mix have been precisely proportioned. It has a bright tomato taste that’s not too thick or sweet, and doesn't take away from the herbs and spices that make the Bloody Mary what it is. No need to add hot sauce, either. It’s been spiced with vinegar, hot pepper and black pepper. This stuff is so good you’ll want to drink it by itself. And we only speak from experience.

Use & Care

Fill a glass with ice. Add vodka or gin, depending on your preference (with gin, it’s technically not a bloody mary anymore, but a "red snapper")

Fill with mix to the top and gently stir with a cocktail stirrer. Choose your garnish: we recommend a few stalks of celery and a pickle.

Production & Design

After years of making pickles in their own tiny kitchen, this family business continued the tradition with bloody mary mix and relish, using their grandmother’s famous recipe.

Their products are made from as much local produce as possible, when it’s in season. And when it’s not, they call up the farms and speak directly with the growers to make sure they are getting the best, freshest produce available for their pickles and mix. Every jar is hand packed. All products are all-natural, gluten-free and kosher certified.
