Wool is a natural fiber that creates tiny air pockets of warm air, retaining your body heat while also absorbing moisture vapor. Every year sheep produce a new fleece, making wool a renewable fiber source that's easy to care for and multi-climatic. This blanket is also made with 40% acrylic, so it's safe for the washing machine, and can be used indoors or out.

Use & Care

When tossing this blanket in the wash, use a gentle detergent and set to a cool, delicate cycle. The blanket can be hung dry on the line or dried in the dryer on low heat.

Production & Design

Faribault Wool Mill is a fully vertically integrated mill, which means each step is completed with help from automated machinery and quite a bit of hands-on manufacturing, all in the same locale. The mill wastes nothing and recycles everything as part of the thought process behind their business and process. Their state of the art water processing equipment takes waste heat from their processing and pre-heats the incoming water supply through the use of heat-exchangers. This gives an estimated 93% energy re-use.
