Skidmore’s Leather Care and Restoration Cream will protect, condition and clean your favorite leather pieces, from old hiking boots, motorcycle jackets, drum heads and rawhide, to your saddlebag or vintage office chairs.

Used regularly, this cream will build up a waterproof and protective coating, bringing even the driest leather back to life. Each batch is handmade by Vince Skidmore at his shop in Laramie, Wyoming. After a long search for ingredients that were effective, safe to use, and did not contain harsh chemicals, Vince mixed up beeswax and natural oils into what he now calls his “gift from the universe.”

Use & Care

Apply cream liberally. If leather is particularly dry, apply it to both sides. Buff the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth (sheepskin or an old washcloth work equally well). To keep fine leathers looking great and feeling supple, repeat as necessary and use as often as needed.

Skidmore’s Leather Cream works on all types of leather except suede. If leather is light in color, test for darkening on a small inconspicuous area before applying.

Production & Design

This cream was created from beeswax harvested from Riverton, Wyoming, and a mixture of natural oils. Contains no animal products or silicone.

Uses
