Plastic hangers do a disservice to your best duds, not only because they usually break under the weight of heavier garments, but because plastic doesn't fight the moths.

Use the cedar hanger for your coats, dresses, suits and slacks and naturally, aromatically repel moths and their larvae from harming your wardrobe. The top bar of this hanger is designed to hold coats and suits, while the bottom bar hangs lower to make it easier to place and remove slacks.

Use to hang coats, suits, pants, blankets and other garments until next season or the everyday closet.

To care for the hanger and revive its natural aroma, you can occasionally sand it with 120 grit sandpaper. Over time you can expect the cedar, which begins as a mix of red and white grain, to develop a more brown appearance.

Production & Design

Turned from Eastern red cedar scrap wood from the West Virginia forest region. The wood is kiln dried in a large oven, fueled by sawdust byproduct from wood cut in the manufacturer's own plant.

The small New Hampshire manufacturer employs a cellular manufacturing process where the cedar items go from one process to the next, with one person in charge of each step. After being cut and shaped, the raw cedar hanger is sanded and finished by hand.
