Perfectly drizzle your sticky condiment into tea or on biscuits without leaving a mess.  Rather than a spoon, the honey dipper will evenly and consistently spread honey over the top of a pastry. The wood finish effectively waterproofs itself, allowing foods and liquids to easily dribble off rather than soak into it.

Use & Care

Open that honey jar steady and slow, submerge the dipper and twist to let honey stick to the dipper’s grooves on all sides. Take it out and twist again over whatever food you’re sweetening. To put in tea, dip the whole thing in a cup of hot water and swirl.

Wash in warm water with regular soap. If it ever looks dry, use pure corn oil. Just a little dab on a paper towel will be plenty.

Production & Design

The Scottsman who makes these honey dippers - as well as hundreds of other wooden tableware items - was on his way up north to Canada when he fell in love with Vermont. Instead of continuing on his route, he brought his woodworking talents to Wilmington, and has remained there ever since.

He began as an independent craftsman, his business going through all the traditional stages of borrowed workshops, house basements, tiny converted gas stations and property purchases followed by five factory extensions.

As he heeded a large number of requests from stores, he finally opened a factory which currently employs eight full time and four part-time craftsmen, some of who have been with him for over 25 years. Since 1967, his craftsmanship has imbued the company with a tradition and reputation of quality.
