Hand-crafted in Portland, Maine, this aftershave has a masculine, phenolic amber scent with hints of sea salt, which is to say oak whiskey barrels aging by the sea. Its main ingredient is aloe vera which soothes skin after shaving. Essential oils and willow bark extract are there to keep skin clear. If that wasn't enough, sea kelp extract and blue-green algae deliver phytonutrients and sea water minerals directly to your skin.

Men have been shaving for a long time. Alexander the Great promoted shaving to avoid dangerous beard-grabbing in battle. So stay safe in battle and keep your skin clean and clear. This aftershave contains no harmful alcohol, and willowbark contains natural aspirin, which will keep pimple-causing microbes at bay.

Use & Care

After shaving, apply a moderate amount to hands or cotton ball and gently pat onto shaved areas.

Then open your mouth and yell while listening to the Drifters' version of "White Christmas." Just kidding.

Production & Design

Portland General Store began in Portland, Maine, with some old Soviet-era bottles, a perfumery manual, and an interest in sustainable living. They started with creams and bath salts, and have expanded into a whole range of personal care products. Their products are made using time-tested methods and ingredients only found abundant in nature.
