Three Stars White Champagne Chalk

This
small, round white chalk is for precise handwriting and line drawing.
Think of a board full of beautiful math equations, or the even, repeated
lines of delinquent students. No matter how much they write, the air
they breathe will still be dust-free.
Unlike
most commercial chalks, these sticks are made from natural calcium
carbonate deposits from Champagne, France. It’s the same stuff as the
region’s wine caves and the White Cliffs of Dover. The deposits are the
remains of the great inland sea that was there 70 million years before
France got there.
Three Stars (or Drei Sterne in German), has been making chalk for 130 years.
Thin,
round chalk makes finer lines than big, stout sidewalk chalk, but the
concept is still the same — it leaves a thin, loose layer of itself on
gritty surfaces. Use this chalk where ever you want.
Great for writing and making lists on chalkboard, or drawing snowflakes on the sidewalk.
Erasing
depends more on the surface than on the chalk — use a chalkboard eraser
or a damp cloth for chalkboards and chalk paint. Let stomping feet
erase chalk lines on sidewalk.
Generations
of German school children have grown up with Three Stars chalk. The
company was started by one Anton Franz Moertel in 1870, and five
generations later, Three Stars is still owned by his great-great
grandchildren.
With 130 years of experience behind them, Three Stars has mastered the art of making reliable, consistent, high quality chalk.
